In
'00 only one blemish kept the 'Canes out of the
National Championship game versus Oklahoma in
the Orange Bowl. The 'Canes traveled 3,000 miles
to Seattle to play the Washington Huskies and
once again were upset. Miami then bounced back
to defeat the #1 ranked 'Noles 27-24 in front
of the hometown fans at the Orange Bowl. Lead
by QB Ken Dorsey, WR's Santana Moss, and Reggie
Wayne and Butkis winning linebacker Dan Morgan,
the 'Canes rolled into the Sugar Bowl and defeated
the Florida. Miami might not have gotten their
5th Championship, but they did win another State
Championship. |
