The
Hurricanes would struggle again in their '96 campaign.
Miami opened the season strong by posting big
wins in their first four games, but would again
hit a road block in Florida State. After losing
to FSU the 'Canes seemed to lose focus and a little
heart because they would then lose to East Carolina
6-31. Miami finished the season on a strong note
by beating Big East rivals Boston College and
Syracuse in high scoring games. The Hurricanes
would also be back in the Bowls and win 31-21
over Virginia. |
