After
a disappointing loss to Alabama in the '93 Sugar
Bowl, the Canes started the '93 season off on
the wrong foot as well. The Canes lost 3 games,
one to eventual National Champ Florida State.
Lead by All-American defensive end Kevin Patrick,
the Hurricane Defense was strong on the line,
but missing the big 3 (Barrow, Armstead, and Smith),
and Ryan McNeil. Frank Costa was supposed to be
the next stud at Quarterback University, but was
injured and replaced by Ryan Collins. Miami came
up empty once more in the Fiesta Bowl losing to
Arizona 29-0. |
