Season Flashback
The Hurricanes entered the '92 season again looking for a repeat National Championship. The 'Canes did everything right during the regular season by posting wins over teams like Florida State, Penn State, Arizona and Virginia Tech. The Hurricanes were lead by Heisman Trophy winner Gino Torretta. This team had it all - Lamar Thomas, Horace Copeland, Kevin Williams, Darren Krein, Darrin Smith, Michael Barrow and Jessie Armstead... What more could you want? Miami entered the Sugar Bowl against Alabama only to play the teams worst game ever. Miami finished 3rd in the polls.
