Miami
began the '91 season right where they left off
in '90. The Hurricanes fielded on of the best
teams college football has ever seen. Big names
like Gino Torretta, Lamar Thomas, Horace Copeland,
Kevin Williams on offense and Rusty Medaris, Darrin
Smith, Michael Barrow and Jessie Armstead on defense
it was no wonder the 'Canes would go undefeated
and win their fourth National Championship. This
season will also be remembered for "Wide
Right I". |
