After
winning their second National Championship the
Hurricanes came into the '88 season looking for
a repeat performance. Miami started strong with
convincing wins over Florida State, Michigan and
Wisconsin. The 'Canes would hit the road to face
a Notre Dame team that would deal Miami their
only loss of the season. Miami would win the remainder
of their games including a 23-3 win over Nebraska
in the Orange Bowl. "The Streak" was
still intact. |
