After
winning their first National Championship in the
prior season the 'Canes struggled in '84. The
'Canes started strong, but would finish with four
loses during the regular season and a loss to
UCLA in the Fiesta Bowl. On a positive note, Miami
did get revenge against the Gators with a 32-20
win. Miami would close the season with three consecutive
loses by 2 points in each game. The Hurricanes
finish the season ranked 14th. |
